How Fast Are You Moving?

C. Engdahl
The Big E of Big E Toys

I’m going on hiatus for a couple weeks. I’ll be back on my regular schedule after the FEI conference in Boston (which sadly I’m unable to attend this year because of another commitment). I want to leave you with a simple follow-up to last week’s post “The Fear Of Failure Is A Bit Ironic” before I’m off.

At the end of the Fear Of Failure post I wrote:
“Whether good or bad, it’s not so much who we are now that matters most. Rather it’s what we are becoming.”

Some time ago I read Guy Kawasaki’s book Rule For Revolutionaries. I thought it was pretty good. I was perusing it once again today actually and came across this somewhat similar idea for organizations:
“How fast you are moving is more important than where you are.”

How fast are you moving? What are you becoming?

Talk to you later.

Chip
